Going into her degree, Zoe wanted to pursue a career as a Forensic Scientist. However, after taking part in her first training excavation there was no turning back. She then worked with Historic England\u2019s research teams while on a CIfA Historic Environment Placement before moving into heritage consultancy in 2014. <\/figure>Newsletter Editor – Andrew Burn<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nAndrew is the Development Advice Team Leader for Yorkshire at Historic England and has been passionate about \u00a0landscape archaeology since undertaking an EPPIC placement with the archaeological survey and investigation team, at what was then English Heritage in 2008. Having worked across the UK in the private sector, in varied roles from field archaeology to consultancy, he returned to HE in 2021 to manage the organisational advice on the A303 tunnel scheme at Stonehenge, before moving into his current role in Yorkshire in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\nCommittee Member – Jon Dollery<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nJon is the Mapping Officer at the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (RCAHMW) based in Aberystwyth. He has been involved with many spatial humanities and historical GIS projects in the public and academic sectors, including \u2018Deep Mapping Estate Archives\u2019 and \u2018Mapping the Medieval March of Wales 1282-1550\u2019. Jon has a background in Landscape Archaeology and has been involved in several archaeological excavations in Wales and the Northwest. Jon is also fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
